This is a photo from a village called Jarushiya, north of Tulkarem. This home and the family living here will be totally isolated from their olive trees as the wall comes nearly 30 meters from their homes. The private security forces and contractor (on the right hand side of the photo) were driling holes to use dynamite to explode and break down the rocky ground where the road and wall will be built.

This is a photo from Zeita, north of Tulkarem. The road where the man is standing used to drive down into olive trees. There is now a 9 meter drop or so down to the area that has been cleared for the wall and the rest of the "separation" (apartheid) barrier. All of the Palestinian owned greenhouses and orchards in the background will be on the Israeli side of the wall, isolated from the village.

This photo is of a roadblock between the Palestinian villages of Nazlat Isa and Baqa Sharqia in the Sharawiya area north of Tulkarem. These villages are much like ghostowns as the market area was filled with workers from the Tulkarem area that has been dramatically affected by the Intifada and the ongoing measures of the Israeli occupation of the area. Both Nazlat Isa and Baqa Sharqia will be existing as Palestinian enclaves between the wall and the greenline.

This couple, their home, and their fields will be between the greenline and the wall being built in the Palestinian village of Zeita. As Palestinians living in this "security" zone, they will be isolated by the wall from their economic, social, familial, and cultural connection to Palestine, and will still be considered Palestinians, and therefore unable to enter Israel. Tens of thousands of people will be living in such Palestinian enclaves.
